We use the information we collect to:
Codie Dog Interactive is a directory. Information you add to your host or guest profile — such as your name, headshot or cover image, podcast details, expertise, topics, stories, links, and availability — is intended to be publicly visible to other users and site visitors, and may appear in search results and featured listings. Please do not include information in your public profile that you do not wish to share. Sensitive details like your password are never displayed publicly.
When you use our AI-powered tools, the content you provide (and, for some features, publicly available information such as podcast links) may be sent to trusted third-party AI providers to generate output. We use these providers only to deliver the requested features. We do not sell your content, and we instruct our providers to handle it in accordance with their applicable data-processing terms. AI output may be inaccurate and should be reviewed before use.
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these circumstances:
We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to operate the Service — for example, to keep you signed in and remember your session — and to understand general usage so we can improve the platform. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling certain cookies may affect functionality such as staying logged in.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including storing passwords in hashed form and restricting access to personal data. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we will delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, update, or delete your personal information, object to or restrict certain processing, or request a copy of your data. You can update most profile information directly in your dashboard, or contact us to exercise these rights. We will respond in accordance with applicable law. You may also opt out of non-essential communications at any time.
The Service is intended for users 18 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
If you have questions or requests regarding this Privacy Policy or your information, contact us at [email protected].
